What Will You Do? 🦾

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced engineer to join our ML department.  In this role, you will lead and manage complex data science projects, develop and implement machine learning models & algorithms.

The ideal candidate should have knowledge of statistics, machine learning and computer science, as well as excellent communication and leadership skills.

In This Role, You’ll Get to

• Design, experiment and implement ML and statistical models to improve our ML infrastructure, mainly related to our pricing algorithms.
• Mine big data of billions of prices and millions of user generated events, discover actionable insights to drive improvements and innovation
• Maintain and develop a scalable, low-latency ML infrastructure
• Research, discover and harness new ideas that can make a difference

What You’ll Need To Succeed

• 5+ years hands-on data science experience
• Excellent understanding of AI/ML/DL and Statistics
• Significant proficiency in Python and its ML and statistics frameworks such as pytorch, tensorflow and sklearn
• Experience with data cleaning and processing using ETL pipelines and frameworks such as Spark, Hadoop, Flink or other Apache ETL tools
• PhD or MSc in Computer Science / Data Science / Statistics
• Familiarity with Linux
• Can lead, work independently as well as play a key role in a team
• Good communication and interpersonal skills for working in a multicultural work environment
• You are detail-oriented but can also quickly shift priorities if required
• You have solid data-visualization and presentation skills and can communicate to a wide variety of audiences
• You are comfortable in an agile Way of Working, with Scrum, Kanban, or similar frameworks
• Strong problem-solving skills with an emphasis on product development.

It’s Great if You Have 

• Hands on experience with big data
• Experience in data science for RMS and/or OTA
